ONE PLAYER. ONE WORLD.
ONE WAY OUT.

OUTRUN is a live Minecraft survival challenge. You are dropped into a closed world with a single objective: Escape.

You are not running from a scripted boss. You are being hunted by an autonomous Minecraft agent that can genuinely play the game — it navigates, gathers, builds, bridges, fights, and pursues you across the world and through the Nether.

You have Minecraft's full toolkit. So does the Overseer. There is no pattern to memorize — only outplay.

How It Works

[1] Join the Queue wait for your turn on the server
[2] Survive progress through the world
[3] Escape reach the End Portal before you're killed

The Human Is the Challenge

OUTRUN reverses the normal relationship between player and AI. You are not here to beat the game — the game is here to test you.

Every run asks the same questions: Can you reach the Nether? Find the stronghold? Activate the End portal? Escape? Can you discover a strategy the Overseer cannot handle?

And when someone finds an answer, the leaderboard records it — so the next player can try to do it faster.

The Overseer

The Overseer is the entity that makes OUTRUN what it is: an autonomous Minecraft agent built on the Möbius Automata project.

It observes, reacts, and pursues. It climbs, swims, bridges, builds, and hunts you across dimensions. It defends itself, maintains its gear, and adapts to the situation in front of it.

It is another player-like entity — not an NPC with predetermined attacks. That is what makes every run unpredictable.

Fairness

The Overseer is terrifyingly capable — but escape must be possible. Every run you choose routes, manage resources, take risks, and learn from your deaths.

The goal is not "the AI always wins." The goal is an opponent powerful enough to make the escape you pull off feel legendary.

The World

Every OUTRUN world is designed to be explored under pressure. The playable area is limited to a 750 x 750 block square, containing naturally generated terrain, biomes, and structures.

Worlds are periodically replaced with new, hand-selected seeds, ensuring that previous knowledge cannot permanently solve the challenge.

The Objective

Your objective is simple: reach the End and escape.

You are not required to defeat the Ender Dragon. You are not required to collect every resource. You are not required to build a beautiful base.

You need to survive long enough to find a way out. How you accomplish that is entirely up to you.

The Leaderboard

Successful runs are ranked by completion time. The leaderboard records the fastest escapes and gives players a reason to return, improve, and compete.

The Queue

Only one player can play OUTRUN live. Players waiting for their turn are displayed in the queue on the main page.

When the active run ends, the next player is selected according to the current queue rules. Make sure you are available when your turn approaches.

Made to Be Watched

A dedicated cinematic camera follows the action, and the broadcast switches between the chase, the overview, and the standings — so a new viewer can understand what is happening within seconds.

The Rules

OUTRUN is competitive, but it is still a shared experience. Players are expected to follow the rules, respect the queue, and avoid exploiting mechanics in ways that undermine the challenge.
